Frank Clayton Jr.

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Frank E. Clayton Jr., 45, of Perryville died Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2003, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

He was born March 21, 1957, son of Frank E. and Ruby Nelson Clayton Sr. He and Julie Bey were married Aug. 26, 1995.

He was a welding inspector for Robinson Construction. He served in the U.S. Navy, and was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus Council 7063, and Elks Lodge 2701.

Survivors include his wife; his mother of Advance, Mo.; two daughters, Casey Clayton and Shelby Hotop of Perryville; a son, Shawn Hotop of Perryville; a brother, Mike Clayton of Bloomfield, Mo.; and three sisters, Diane Loveless and Marsha Paylor of Bloomfield, and Jackie Humphrey of Dexter, Mo.

He was preceded in death by his father and a sister.

Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday at Young and Sons Funeral Home, and Saturday from 6:30 to 9:40 a.m. at the funeral home. A parish wake will be held at 5 p.m. Friday, and an Elks wake at 5:45 p.m. Friday. The rosary will be said Saturday at 9 a.m. Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, with the Rev. Kevin Fausz officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery with military graveside honors.
