PERRYVILLE -- Frank A. DeWilde died Saturday, Oct. 24, 1992, at American Care Nursing Center in Perryville. He was 86.
He was born April 9, 1906, at Belgique, Mo., the son of Bernard A. DeWilde and Lena Fuytinck DeWilde. He was married May 1, 1929, to Allene M. Guyot. She survives.
Also surviving are five sons, Albert DeWilde, Richard DeWilde and Stephen DeWilde, all of Perryville, David DeWilde of Amesberry, Mass., and Daniel DeWilde of Waterloo, Ill.; five daughters, Irma Pratt, Rita Gunther and Marge Benoff, all of St. Louis, Velma Fortney of Crystal City, and Grace Meyer of Springfield, Ill.; one brother, Edward DeWilde of Perryville; three sisters, Rose Crider and Martha Lynch of Long Beach, Calif., and Philomena Otto of Perryville.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter. Twenty-two grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and two great-step-grandchildren also survive.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus.
The funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville. The Rev. J. Edward Wilson will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Visitation is from 4-9 p.m. today at Miller Family Funeral Home. A wake service will be held at 7 p.m., along with a Knights of Columbus service.
