Frances Surlet

PATTON, Mo. -- Frances C. Surlet, 82, of Patton passed away Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Jan. 26, 1931, in Randol, Mo., daughter of Fred and Nora Haman Lynn. She and Ray Surlet were united in marriage June 18, 1949.

Mrs. Frances worked for Mosby Publishing Co. as an IT specialist and was a member of the Patton United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband Ray; daughters, Connie Siebler of Maryland Heights, Mo., and Carolyn (Andy) Greening of Hannibal, Mo.; a sister, Kathryn Surface of Delta; the oldest granddaughter, Jennifer Surlet, and four other grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents, three brothers and one sister.

A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. today at the Liley Funeral Home in Patton, Mo. Burial will be in the Patton Cemetery in Patton.

In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to be made to the Patton United Methodist Church.
