CAMDENTON -- Frances L. Roelker, 76, of Camdenton, died Sunday, July 6, 1997, at Lake of the Ozarks General Hospital in Osage Beach.
She was born Feb. 15, 1921, in Charleston, the daughter of Ben E. and Della F. Duncan Baker. On Nov. 28, 1938, she married Howard B. Roelker, and he died April 20, 1995.
She lived in the Lake of the Ozarks area for 47 years. With her husband, she owned and operated Ha-Wanda Acres Resort, and she worked for J.B. Deere Co. in Lake Ozark before retiring.
Survivors include her mother of Cape Girardeau, three sons, Ronald Roelker of Camdenton, Donald Roelker of Osage Beach and Thomas Roelker of Clinton; two brothers, Allan Baker of Kansas City and James Baker of Sikeston; a sister, Shirley Gibson of Cape Girardeau; 14 grandchildren and stepgrandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
Her father and a brother preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at Allee-Reed Funeral Home in Camdenton.
