FRANCES JOHANNA RINEY

PERRYVILLE -- Frances Johanna Riney, 91, died Friday, Dec. 30, 1994, at PerryOaks Healthcare Center in Perryville.

She was born Feb. 6, 1903, in St. Louis, daughter of the late Joachim and Dina Grave Merkert.

She married Clarence H. Collins Aug. 12, 1933. He preceded her in death Sept. 8, 1943. She later married Murphy Louis Riney on May 25, 1950. He preceded her in death Feb. 25, 1992.

She was retired from Moog Industries in St. Louis and was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Lithium.

Survivors include one daughter, Mildred F. Stopke of St. Louis; three stepsons, Melvin J. Riney of Jackson, Kenneth L. "Nook" and Marvin "Cracker" Riney, both of Perryville; one stepdaughter, Verna Mae Renicke of Brooksville, Fla.; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; 16 stepgrandchildren; and 29 stepgreat-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

Visitation will be Sunday from 3 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the Young and Sons Funeral Chapel in Perryville. A parish wake service will be Sunday at 7 p.m. Mass will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. at the St. John the Baptist Church in Perryville, with the Rev. Felipe Martinez officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
