Frances Funke, 76, of Edwardsville, Ill., died Saturday, June 8, 2002, at Cedar Ridge in Lebanon, Ill. She was born Oct. 23, 1925, daughter of Albert and Lillie E. Mott Rice. Frances Funke, 76, of Edwardsville, Ill., died Saturday, June 8, 2002, at Cedar Ridge in Lebanon, Ill.

She was born Oct. 23, 1925, daughter of Albert and Lillie E. Mott Rice. She and Paul Webster Funke were married May 16, 1942, in Missouri.

Funke was an inspector and office worker 30 years at Pepsi Cola in Chicago.

Survivors include two daughters, Marie Funke of Edwardsville and Joyce Schoenbeck of Addison, Ill.; her mother, Lillie Williams of Cape Girardeau; three brothers, Ronald and Wendell Williams of Jackson, Mo., Larry Williams of Scott City, Mo.; four grandchildren; and a great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by her husband and father.

Graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at New Morley Cemetery in Morley, Mo.

Friends may gather Saturday at the cemetery from noon until service time.

Saksa Mateer Funeral Home in Edwardsville is in charge of arrangements.
