PERRYVILLE -- Frances E. Wedell, 87, of Perryville, died Sunday, Jan. 29, 1995, at Perry County Memorial Hospital. She was born March 17, 1907, at Perryville, daughter of Bernard A. and Eleanor Hoffman Schindler. She and Jack Wedell were married in December 1941. He died Sept. 3, 1980...

PERRYVILLE -- Frances E. Wedell, 87, of Perryville, died Sunday, Jan. 29, 1995, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

She was born March 17, 1907, at Perryville, daughter of Bernard A. and Eleanor Hoffman Schindler. She and Jack Wedell were married in December 1941. He died Sept. 3, 1980.

Wedell was a member of American Legion Auxiliary.

Survivors include a stepson, David Wedell of McGalin, Texas; a sister, Emma Moore of Perryville, and a brother, LeRoy Schindler of Seminole, Fla.

She was preceded in death by 11 brothers and sisters.

Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. Wednesday, and from 6:30-9:45 a.m. Thursday. A wake will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Vincent's Catholic Church, with the Rev. Gerard Kelly officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
