ANNA, Ill. -- Forrest P. "Tiny" Lingle, 81, of Anna died Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2004, at Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Marion, Ill.
He was born April 6, 1923, at Mill Creek, Ill., son of George and Minnie Knupp Lingle. He and Beverly Sue Jennings were married Nov. 27, 1954, in Balcom, Ill.
Lingle was a member of Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 184 in Paducah, Ky., Anna Heights Baptist Church, and lifetime member of Carroll P. Foster VFW Post 3455.
He was a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Gerald Lingle of Jonesboro, Ill.; a brother, Weldon Lingle of Anna; and two granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, and nine brothers and sisters.
Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna from 10 a.m. Saturday until time of service.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. James Wilkins officiating. Burial will be in Jonesboro Cemetery, with full military honors by VFW Post 3455.
