Fordyce N. Neilson, 70, died Friday, Feb. 19, 1993, at Grosmont Hospital in Santee, Calif. He was formerly of Marble Hill and Cape Girardeau.
He was born Dec. 9, 1922, in St. Louis, son of George R. and Mary Wilson Neilson.
After retiring from the U.S. Navy, he made his home in California.

Survivors include a sister, Dorris Lincoln of Marble Hill; two brothers, George Neilson of Jackson, and Carl Neilson of Texas.
He was preceded in death by his wife, a son and daughter.
Funeral service will be in California.
