JONESBORO, Ill. -- Floyd L. "Frosty" Spurlock, 75, of Route 1 Jonesboro, died Saturday, Aug. 17, 1991, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born May 11, 1916 in Jonesboro, the son of Benjamin and Minnie Kimbrell Spurlock.
On Nov. 11, 1939, he married the former Edna Harvel in Jackson, Mo. She survives.
He was a member of the Carroll P. Foster VFW Post 3455 in Anna, the American Legion in Anna, and the Freewill Mission Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one brother, George Spurlock, Buncombe; one sister, Lucille Forehand, Jonesboro; a nephew, Lonnie Harvel, and other nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Norris and Son Funeral Home in Jonesboro with the Rev. George Pitts officiating. Burial will follow in Casper Cemetery with military rites by the Carroll P. Foster VFW Post 3455.
