MARION, Ill. -- Floyd William Kelley, 70, of Marion died Monday, March 13, 2000, at his home. He was born March 12, 1930, at Madison, son of James W. Kelley and Altha Sharp Mowery. MARION, Ill. -- Floyd William Kelley, 70, of Marion died Monday, March 13, 2000, at his home.

He was born March 12, 1930, at Madison, son of James W. Kelley and Altha Sharp Mowery.

Kelley was a retired factory employee and was an inspector with the A.O. Smith Corporation. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy R. Kelley; two sons, Paul Kelley of Sorento, and Jeffrey Kelley of Dongola; two daughters, Jeanette Pulley of Mount Vernon, and Debra Widel of Bloomsdale, Mo.; five sisters, Ida House and Opal Wilson, both of Granite City, Martha Mowery of St. Charles, Mo., Rose Mary McCord of Bethalto, and Wanda Lynn of Crystal Lake; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three sisters and four brothers.

Friends may call between 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Jones Funeral Home in Tamms.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Larry Buckles officiating. Burial will follow in the Mount Olive/Meisenheimer Cemetery Rural east of Dongola, with full military honors by Carroll P. Foster V.F.W. Post #3455 of Anna.
