ANNA, Ill. -- Floyd M. Hinkle, 74, of Anna died Wednesday, June 17, 1998, at his home.
He was born July 21, 1923, at Anna, son of Clyde Warren and Flora Agnes Jackson Hinkle. He and Marjorie Brewer were married Oct. 26, 1940.
Hinkle was a serviceman with Walter Hardware and Anna Building Center more than 45 years. He was a member of Ware United Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Carl Hinkle of Anna, Floyd Hinkle of Gerard, Jerry Hinkle of Jonesboro; two daughters, Shirley Clardy and Sharon Gibson of Anna; 16 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a granddaughter.
Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Anna after 5 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Joe Hicks, Charles Mitchell and Danny Jones officiating. Burial will be in Anna Cemetery.
