PERRYVILLE, Mo. — Floyd Giesler, 94, of Perryville died Sunday, March 30, 2008, at Perry Oaks Manor.

He was born April 17, 1913, in Perry County, Mo., son of Edward and Frances Baudendistel Giesler. He and Viola Besand were married in 1948. She died in 1980. He and Donna Tucker were married in 1982. She preceded him in death.

Giesler owned and operated Giesler Auto Sales in St. Louis many years.

He served in the Merchant Marines during World War II.

Survivors include a daughter, Jill Lohmann of Chicago; a stepdaughter, Carol Witt of St. Louis; a brother, Ray Giesler of Ste. Genevieve, Mo.; three grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville. An American Legion service will be at 7.

Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Lake Charles Memorial Park in St. Louis.
