SCOTT CITY -- Floyd Frank Hale, 66, of Scott City, died Monday, Oct. 4, 1993, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born April 2, 1917, at Commerce, son of James Frank and Leva Ellen Wright Hale. He and Mary Smith were married April 22, 1953.
Hale was co-owner of Scott County Sawmill and Hale Brothers Log and Lumber in Scott City. He also had worked for Cargill Carriers. He was a member of Free Will Baptist Church, and veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Keith Hale of Jackson; two daughters, Teresia Sinn of Cape Girardeau, Sherril Reams of Fond du Lac, Wis.; two brothers, Roy and Chester "Gene" Hale of Scott City; three sisters, Anna Pyle and Goldia Lindemann of Scott City, Pearl Hill of Herrin, Ill., and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City. The Rev. Frank Giunta will officiate, with burial in Lightner Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. today.
