FREDERICKTOWN -- Floyd Edgar Heady Jr., 64, of Granite City, Ill., died Sunday, July 11, 1993, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Granite City.

He was born Aug. 8, 1928, in St. Louis, son of Floyd E. and Lillian Inez Taff Sr.

Heady was a supervisor with Chemtco.

Survivors include a son, James Heady of Granite City; four daughters, Judy Reynolds, Jeanie Myrs, Janet Foster and Lisa Ray, all of Granite City; two brothers, Jack Heady of Inverness, Fla., Billy Don Heady of Tamms, Ill.; a sister, Betty Heady of Maysville, Ga., and 10 grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Hansmann Funeral Home in Fredericktown. The Rev. Kenneth Wirtmiller will officiate, with burial in Marcus Memorial Cemetery at Fredericktown.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. today.
