FLOYD E. CHAPPIUS

PERRYVILLE -- Floyd E. "Snubby" Chappius, 82, of Perryville, died Thursday, April 9, 1992, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

He was born July 15, 1909, in Perryville, son of August and Cecilia Weinkein Chappius.

He married Claire C. Essner on Oct. 28, 1944. She survives of Perryville.

Other survivors are one brother, Harry Chappius of Perryville and one sister, Earline Franklin of California.

He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, the American Legion and was a veteran of World War II.

Friends may call from 4-9 p.m. Sunday at Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville.

A wake service will be held at 7 p.m. at the funeral home, and an American Legion service will be held at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Monday at St. Vincents Church with the Rev. Henry Grodecki officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery.
