OLIVE BRANCH, Ill. -- Floy Adams, 71, of Olive Branch died Thursday, Jan. 7, 1999, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Jan. 14, 1927, in Massac County, daughter of Dennis and Floy Coryell Swanner. She and Lindell L. Adams were married Jan. 23, 1944, in Cypress.
Adams was a member of Alexander Freewill Baptist Church in Olive Branch, and attended Maranatha Assembly of God Church in Decatur.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Gail Heinz of Pesotum, Peggy Middleton of Decatur; a sister, Wanda Stricklin of Vienna; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Jones Funeral Home in Tamms from 2-4 p.m. Sunday.
Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Graceland-Fairlawn Cemetery in Decatur, with the Rev. Doug Lowery officiating.
