Flossie T. Andrews, 87, of Cape Girardeau, died Wednesday, Oct. 6, 1993, at St. Francis Medical Center. She was born Sept. 11, 1906, in Danville, Ill., daughter of John William and Anna Dodson Marshall. She and Charles Andrews were married June 15, 1940, in Tarrytown, N.Y. He died May 8, 1988...

Flossie T. Andrews, 87, of Cape Girardeau, died Wednesday, Oct. 6, 1993, at St. Francis Medical Center.

She was born Sept. 11, 1906, in Danville, Ill., daughter of John William and Anna Dodson Marshall. She and Charles Andrews were married June 15, 1940, in Tarrytown, N.Y. He died May 8, 1988.

Andrews was a high school teacher 32 years in Mattoon, Ill., and Detroit, Mich., retiring in 1967. She moved to Cape Girardeau in 1980. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church.

Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel is in charge of local arrangements.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Spring Hill Cemetery Chapel in Danville. The Rev. Miles White will officiate.

A memorial service will be held during the 10:45 a.m. service Oct. 17 at Westminster Church.
