FLOSSIE SNELL

THEBES, Ill. -- Flossie Estell Snell, 87, Thebes Route 1, died Monday, Nov. 3, 1997, at Jonesboro Health Care Center.

She was born March 21, 1910, in Alexander County, daughter of William and Estell Hebbert Miller. She married Charley "Humpy" Snell, who died Nov. 9, 1982.

Snell was a member of Alexander Freewill Baptist Church near Olive Branch.

Survivors include three sons, Robert and Raymond Snell of Thebes, Lloyd Snell of Olympia, Wash.; a sister, Audrey Bishop of Carrier Mills; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call at Jones Funeral Home in Tamms from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Earnest Brown officiating. Burial will be in Twente Cemetery near Thebes.
