CHARLESTON -- Flossie Lee Ponder, 93, formerly of Charleston, died Saturday, April 22, 1995, in Coolidge, Ariz.
She was born Aug. 24, 1901, in Charleston. She married Lawrence Ponder, who died in 1978.
Ponder had lived in Coolidge since 1956. She was a member of the United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Janice Morgan of Coolidge, Elma Renaud of Louisville, Ky.; two sisters, Elsie Emrich of Tyroza, Ariz., Maegerie Ballinger of Charleston; six grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Home from 6-9 p.m. Thursday.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the United Methodist Church in Charleston, with the Rev. Richard Combs officiating. Burial will be in Dogwood Cemetery.
