FLOSSIE HIGGINS

BELKNAP, Ill. -- Funeral for Flossie Higgins of Belknap will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Wilson Funeral Home in Karnak. The Rev. Alvin Thomas will officiate, with burial in Masonic Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Friday.

Higgins, 77, died Tuesday, Feb. 16, 1999, at her home.

She was born March 26, 1921, at Belknap, daughter of David and Rosett Canupp Allen. She married Wilson Higgins, who preceded her in death.

Higgins was a member of Belknap Pentecostal Church.

Survivors include two sons, Carrol and Darrell Higgins of Belknap; a brother, Marion Allen of Belknap; and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by six sisters and five brothers.
