FLOSSIE CLINTON

SIKESTON -- Flossie Clinton, 92, of Sikeston died Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2000, at Clearview Nursing Center.

She was born Nov. 15, 1907, in Columbus, Ky., daughter of Spencer and Carrie Bell Burton Davis. She and Ora Hilton Clinton were married Jan. 5, 1922. He died Oct. 3, 1964.

Clinton was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church.

Survivors include four daughters, Carrie Smith, Laverne Burton, Sue Angle and Sandy Groves, all of Sikeston; a sister, Gazle Taylor of Sikeston; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, a daughter, four brothers, a sister, four grandchildren, and a great-great-granddaughter.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 5-8 p.m. Friday.

Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. Gaylon Butler officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
