FLORENCE L. MASTERSON

NEW MADRID -- Florence Lee Masterson, 90, of New Madrid, died Wednesday, Jan. 20, 1993, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

She was born Sept. 13, 1902, in New Madrid County, daughter of Oscar and Florence Bizzard Mast. She and Jack Masterson were married Sept. 29, 1920. He died March 15, 1990.

Masterson was a member of First Pentecostal Church here.

Survivors include three sons, William "Junior" Masterson of New Madrid, Jimmy Masterson of Belle Chasse, La., Paul Masterson of Jacksonville, Ill.; four daughters, Geraldine Rogers of Cape Girardeau, Alice Barron of Salt Lake City, Utah, Nadine Bent of New Madrid, Carolyn Bent of St. Louis; 28 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, son, two grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

Funeral service will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at First Pentecostal Church. The Rev. Orvil McKinney will officiate, with burial in Mounds Park Cemetery here.
