SIKESTON -- Florence E. Davis, 91, of Sikeston, died Monday, Nov. 29, 1993, at her home. She was born Sept. 2, 1902, in Alma, Ark. She and Dewey Davis were married Dec. 28, 1919, in Crawford County, Ark. He died Aug. 14, 1980. Davis moved to the area in 1940 from Pindall, Ark...

SIKESTON -- Florence E. Davis, 91, of Sikeston, died Monday, Nov. 29, 1993, at her home.

She was born Sept. 2, 1902, in Alma, Ark. She and Dewey Davis were married Dec. 28, 1919, in Crawford County, Ark. He died Aug. 14, 1980.

Davis moved to the area in 1940 from Pindall, Ark.

Survivors include a son, Bobby Davis of Poplar Bluff; a daughter, Betty Blackburn of Sikeston; 20 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by four sons.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Kelley Grubbs will officiate, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today.
