CHARLESTON -- Flora Ann Almon, 85, of Charleston, died Sunday, April 25, 1993, at the Bertrand Nursing Center in Bertrand, Mo.
She was born Feb. 6, 1908, at Roan Mountain, Tenn., daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Hopson.
She was married to Clyde Almon in 1927. He died June 15, 1965.
Almon lived in Charleston most of her life, where she attended the Elm Street Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Orville Almon of Charleston; a grandson, Orville Almon Jr. of Nashville, Tenn.; a granddaughter, Debbie Pollock of Sikeston; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a brother.
Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. today at the McMickle Funeral Home in Charleston.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, at the McMickle Funeral Home in Charleston, with the Rev. Roger Foster officiating.
Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in Charleston.
