JACKSON -- Fleeta Marie Jones, 67, of Jackson, died Monday, Jan. 22, 1996, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Nov. 11, 1928, in Essex, daughter of T.J. "Jeff" and Era Westbrook Parkman. She and Robert Hess were married Sept. 17, 1946. He preceded her in death. She later married Clint Jones July 13, 1957, in Mt. Vernon. He died Aug. 25, 1987.
Jones was a member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Bob Hess of Cape Girardeau, Bill Hess of Fruitland, Roger Jones of Jackson; two stepsons, Lynn Jones of Jackson, Robert Jones of Cape Girardeau; two stepdaughters, Carol Hinkle of Steeleville, Ill., Jerry Ford of Poplar Bluff; a brother, Thomas Parkman of Loves Park, Ill.; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, and 13 stepgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister and five brothers.
Friends may call at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Howard Huddle officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery.
