He was born Dec. 7, 1915, at Thayer, Mo., son of William A. and Willa Webber Kellett. He and Clara Lanell Jamieson were married Nov. 15, 1935. She died Aug. 23, 1999. Kellett farmed and owned grocery stores in Scott and Mississippi counties before retiring. He was born Dec. 7, 1915, at Thayer, Mo., son of William A. and Willa Webber Kellett. He and Clara Lanell Jamieson were married Nov. 15, 1935. She died Aug. 23, 1999.

Kellett farmed and owned grocery stores in Scott and Mississippi counties before retiring. He lived in Mississippi County most of his life and was a member of Shady Acres Church of Christ in Sikeston.

Survivors include a son, Jim Kellett of Bertrand; a daughter, Linda Collier of Jackson, Mo.; a sister, Colleen Kight of Memphis, Tenn.; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters.

Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston, Mo., from 5 to 8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with Pat Hogan and Johnny Hester officiating. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery.
