Ferne L. Loberg, 75, of Cape Girardeau, died Thursday, Jan. 5, 1995, at her home, following a lingering illness.
She was born July 1, 1919, in East Prairie, daughter of John and Grace DeLeon McFarland. She and Lloyd Loberg were married Aug. 15, 1950, in Jonesboro, Ark.
Loberg was a graduate of Central High School, and attended Southeast Missouri State University where she was a member of Clio Sorority.
She and her husband owned and operated Professional Business Systems 33 years. They retired and sold the business to their daughter and son-in-law, Sally and Terry Pool.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Sally Pool of Cape Girardeau, and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother.
Funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel, with the Rev. Paul Catterton officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 1-3 p.m. Sunday.
