FERN NEELEY

LEEDES, Ala. -- Fern Lucille Neeley, 87, of Leedes died Saturday, Nov. 21, 1998, at Medical Center East in Birmingham, Ala.

She was born May 10, 1911, daughter of Joseph Mark and Freda Slinkard Seiler in Whitewater. She married Mason Allen, who preceded her in death. She then married Bernice Neeley on Nov. 21, 1965. He also preceded her in death.

She was a retired machine operator for International Shoe Co. in Cape Girardeau.

She was a member of the Birmingham Senior Citizens group.

Survivors include two sons, Patrick Allen of Waterford, Mich., and Ronald Allen of Englewood, Fla.; a daughter, Joyce Miller of Leedes; a sister, Joan Inglsbee of Pontiac, Mich.; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. Friday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.

Funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral chapel, with the Rev. Watis Harrell officiating.

Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
