FERN LOUGHARY

GLEN ALLEN -- Fern Kirkpatrick Loughary, 79, of Glen Allen died Sunday, Oct. 6, 1996, at Advance Nursing Center in Advance.

She was born Feb. 15, 1917, at Huxie, daughter of Charley E. and Ina C. Proffer Eaker.

Loughary was a member of McGee Chapel Church.

Survivors include a son, William Kirkpatrick of Long Beach, Calif.; two daughters, Virginia Dyle of Zalma, Beatrice Riley of Magna, Utah; eight stepsons, Raymond and Paul James of Arnold, Odell James of Sturdivant, Donald James of Dexter, Roger Loughary of Marble Hill, Russell Loughary of St. Louis, Gary Loughary of Dowagiac, Mich., Edward James of Warrenton.

Also surviving are four stepdaughters, Mildred Borders of Zalma, Dorothy Kirkman of Dexter, Florence Myers of Patton, Bessie Welker of Marble Hill; a brother, Charles Eaker of Alton; a sister, Jessie Clifton of Advance; 20 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons and two sisters.

Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill from 3-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Clinton Massa officiating. Burial will be in McGee Chapel Cemetery.
