MARBLE HILL -- Fern G. Graves, 81, of Marble Hill died Monday, Dec. 9, 1996, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
She was born Nov. 28, 1915, near Marble Hill, the daughter of John Burlen and Maggie G. Ramsey Barks. On May 6, 1937, in Marble Hill she married David Burns Graves. He preceded her in death.
She was a member of the Harmony Congregational Methodist Church, the Women's Missionary Society of the church, the Scopus Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary and the Order of the Eastern Star at Marble Hill.
Survivors include a daughter, Golden Yvonne Schultz of Fenton; a brother, Lowell Barks of Burfordville; three sisters, Flora Fornkahl and Naomi McClard, both of Jackson, and Delores Golightly of Fruitland; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three sons and two sisters.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Bill Ross officiating. Burial will follow in Baker Cemetery near Marble Hill.
