PERRYVILLE -- Funeral for Ferdinand Edward Wesche of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. today at Young and Sons Funeral Home. The Rev. Jeffrey Lloyd will officiate. Burial will be in New Bethlehem Cemetery in St. Louis. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6:30 a.m. until service time...

PERRYVILLE -- Funeral for Ferdinand Edward Wesche of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. today at Young and Sons Funeral Home. The Rev. Jeffrey Lloyd will officiate. Burial will be in New Bethlehem Cemetery in St. Louis.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 6:30 a.m. until service time.

Wesche, 97, died Wednesday, July 14, 1999, at Perry County Nursing Home.

He was born Aug. 18, 1901, in St. Louis, son of William and Pauline Schmidt Wesche. He and Irma C. Hoff were married June 30, 1923. She died July 18, 1990.

Wesche had been a plant manager for Stewart/Warner Corp. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Olive Hilligardt of Florissant; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, two grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
