Juanita "Faye" Sandusky, 74, of Jackson passed away Thursday, Nov. 3, 2016, at her home.

She was born July 10, 1942, in Caraway, Arkansas, to Sylvester and Marie Mitts Ross. She and Robert "Bob" Sandusky were married Sept. 3, 1966, in Saugatuck, Michigan.

Faye and Bob lived many years in Sikeston, moving to Jackson in the mid- 1980s. Faye was a certified dietitian, working at the Monticello House in Jackson, the Jackson Senior Center and the Cape Senior Center, retiring in 2015. She then worked briefly at the former Estes Deli in Jackson.

Faye and Bob were members of Cape County Cowboy Church.

Loving survivors include her husband of 50 years, Bob of Jackson; a daughter-in-law, Alicia (the late Tony) Sandusky of Jackson; a daughter, LaDonna (Ron) Pratt of Scott City; five grandchildren, Bobby Sandusky and Cody Sandusky, both of Jackson, Chelsea (Kyle) Greenwalt of Cape Girardeau and Lauren (Talon) Casebolt and Ethan Pratt, both of Scott City; six great-grandchildren; and four sisters, Liz (the late Kelly) Abernathy, Patsy Pickett and Marilyn Brewer, all of Jackson, and Sandra (Rick) Freeman of Taylorville, Illinois.

She was preceded in death by her son, Tony Sandusky; and five siblings, Joyce, Lavern, Joann, Billy and Debra; and three infant sisters, Helen, Betty and Rita Jean.

Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Jim Matthews and James W. Brown officiating. Burial will be at Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
