Fairly Frealy "Woody" Kinder, 81, of Millersville died Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2003, at Jackson Manor in Jackson. He was born Oct. 31, 1921, at Millersville, son of John Amon and Dona Tishe Statler Kinder. He and Ida Helen McKee were married Feb. 28, 1955. She died Jan. 24, 1975...

Fairly Frealy "Woody" Kinder, 81, of Millersville died Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2003, at Jackson Manor in Jackson.

He was born Oct. 31, 1921, at Millersville, son of John Amon and Dona Tishe Statler Kinder. He and Ida Helen McKee were married Feb. 28, 1955. She died Jan. 24, 1975.

Kinder was a machinist and had worked for Penzel Construction in Jackson, General Motors in St. Louis, LaPierre Sawyer Handle Factory in Jackson, and Superior Electric in Cape Girardeau, retiring in 1983.

He was a life member of VFW Post 5900 at Marble Hill, Mo.

Kinder served with the U.S. Army in Germany during World War II.

Survivors include three sons, Gene Kinder of Arnold, Mo., Raymond Kinder of St. Peters, Mo., John K. Kinder of Jackson; four grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.

Friends may call at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. today.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. The Rev. Bradley Long will officiate. Burial will be in Sedgewickville Cemetery.
