ORAN -- Ewell Shaffer, 66, of Oran, died Wednesday, July 1, 1992 at St. Francis Medical Center.

He was born July 21, 1925, son of Claude Dallas Shaffer and Tressie Mae Petty Shaffer.

He was a farm laborer and a member of the First Baptist Church of Oran.

Survivors are two brothers, Dallas Shaffer of Morley and Lloyd Shaffer of Caruthersville; and one sister, Pat Eftink of Oran.

Friends may call after 3 p.m. today at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel at Oran. Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the First Baptist Church of Oran with the Rev. Jack Bishop officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens.
