PUXICO -- Everette P. Phillips, 78, of Puxico died Wednesday, March 24, 1999, at his home.

He was born June 20, 1920, at Broseley, son of James and Ada Yeley Phillips. He and Eva Mae Hazel were married May 1, 1952, in Arkansas.

Phillips was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Jackie Phillips of Puxico, Lance Phillips of Essex; three daughters, Sally McGowen and Sherry Draper of Puxico, Linda Collins of Morehouse; 13 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son and a brother.

Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico after 6 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with Terry Stockman officiating. Burial will be in Rock Hill Cemetery near Puxico.
