ANNA, Ill. -- Everette E. Ballard, 93, of Park Ridge, died Saturday, Oct. 29, 1994, while visiting in Wisconsin.
He was born Oct. 11, 1901, near Cobden, son of Watt and Dorothy Hankla Ballard. He and Ruby Stout were married Sept. 26, 1926, in Anna. She died July 12, 1978.
Ballard founded All American Life and Casualty Insurance Co. of Chicago, and served as president and chairman of the board until retiring in 1974. He was also a director and chairman several years of the board of O'Hare International Bank of Chicago.
Survivors include a daughter, Barbara; a son, Dean; a sister, Versia Highland of Anna; a brother, Royal Ballard of Littleton, Colo.; two grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers.
Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna from 3-9 p.m. Thursday.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Dewayne Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Anna Cemetery.
