Everett L. "Bud" Moore, 66, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, March 16, 2000, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
A lifelong resident of Cape Girardeau, Moore was born Nov. 5, 1933, the son of Willard Franklin and Ollie Pearl Williams Moore.
He and Carrie E. Dabbs were married on July 20, 1957, in Cape Girardeau. She died on Nov. 3, 1974.
He was then married to Earline Terry on April 25, 1975, in Cape Girardeau. She survives.
Moore was an Airman First Class in the U.S. Air Force, serving from 1953 to 1957. He worked in construction and was a member of Local 282 for 14 years. He had also worked for Leming Lumber for nine years until he retired in 1979.
He had served as a Pentecostal minister in Advance.
Survivors include his wife; five daughters, Brenda Hickman and Debra Mills, both of Mart, Texas, Sandra French of Jonesboro, Ill. Christina Copen of Cape Girardeau and Crystal Kinder of Jackson; two sisters, Dora Poole of Cape Girardeau and Dorothy Russell of Killeen, Texas.; 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
In addition to his first wife, he was preceded in death by a brother.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel.
Funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Don Henson officiating. Burial will follow at Lorimier Cemetery. Veteran Graveside rites will be conducted by VFW Post 3838.
