SIKESTON -- Everett L. Taylor, 59, of Sikeston, died Wednesday, Oct. 19, 1994, at Sikeston Convalescent Center.
He was born Nov. 2, 1934, in Devener, son of William Fred and Nola Elizabeth Roach Taylor. He and Norma Cantrell were married Dec. 3, 1959, in East Prairie.
Taylor was a truck driver, and member of Shady Acres Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Freddie and Mark Taylor of Sikeston, Tom Masters of St. Louis; a daughter, Kimberly Taylor of Sikeston; eight sisters, Ruth Cantrell, Dean Luber and Ann Newton of Sikeston, Pearl Tinnon of Belle, Jewel Doughty of Perryville, Ark., Ollie Horton of Oakland, Calif., Loretta Baker of Florissant, Lola Stroud of Gainesville., and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
Friends may call at Ponder Funeral Home after 5 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Pat Hogan officiating. Burial will be in Blodgett Cemetery.
