Evelyn Ann Waddle 69, of Whitewater entered the gates of heaven Saturday, Nov. 9, 2013, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Oct. 28, 1944, at Randles, the daughter of Tony Kirby "Chub" and Ella Mae Beckland Menz. She and Michael Lee "Mike" Waddle were married April 6, 1984, at Arbor.
Evelyn owned and operated the Rhodes Grocery at Delta and later worked at Tri Con Industries. She was a member of Fairview General Baptist Church at Delta. She was an avid quilter and loved to garden.
Survivors include her husband; her mother, Ella Mae Menz of Delta; four sons, Jimmy (Melanie) Erlbacher of Gordonville, Tommy (Tammy) Erlbacher of Delta, Kirby Rhodes of Delta and Tony (Bobbi) Crader of Delta; four daughters, Kim (Danny) Schlosser of Painton, Mo., Angie (Mike) Perry of Delta, Tammy (Travis) Statler of Whitewater and Michelle (Steve) Beal of Marble Hill, Mo.; a brother, Ronnie Menz of Delta; six sisters, Carol Collins of Delta, Peggy (Bill) Coomer of Delta, Brenda (Ernest) Brown of Jackson, Donna (Dale) Hobeck of Delta, Mary Jo (Clifford) Barlow of Portland, Ore., and Penny (Jack) Coomer of Delta; 17 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father and a granddaughter, Sydnea Elizabeth.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, Mo.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the chapel, with the Revs. Earl Elfrink, Ray Greenlee and Brad Moore officiating. Burial will be in Fairview cemetery near Advance, Mo.
