She was born Aug. 6, 1953, in St. Francis, Ill., daughter of Helen Davault.

Survivors include a daughter, Melissa Rising of Vienna, Ill.; a son, Mark Rising of Cypress; four brothers, Ted Paulaskas of Cypress, Charles Miller of Manteno, Ill., George Koester of Algonquin, Ill., and Bill Koester of Ramsey, Ill.

There is no visitation or funeral.

Wilson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
