SIKESTON, Mo. -- Evelyn Georgia "Polly" Rodgers, 82, of Sikeston died Friday, July 15, 2005, at her home.
She was born May 26, 1923, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Jacob and Virginia Kirby Laub. She and Kenneth Franklin Rodgers were married Dec. 24, 1944, in Benton, Mo. He died Nov. 15, 1967.
Rodgers had been a line worker at International Shoe Co., retiring April 30, 1975. She was a member of Community Baptist Church.
Survivors include a brother, William Laub of Benton; three sisters, Janice Keith of Jackson, Kim Scott of Sikeston, and LaDonna Laub of Benton.
She was preceded in death by a brother.
Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 1 p.m. to service time Wednesday.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Glen Cantrell officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
