EVELYN M. HINNI

PERRYVILLE -- Evelyn M. Hinni, 82, of Perryville, died Sunday, May 30, 1993, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Feb. 11, 1911, in Perry County, daughter of John and Mary Cora Brewer Nienhaus. She and Clarence J. Hinni were married Oct. 18, 1930. He died April 1, 1989.

Hinni was a retired public school teacher. She was a member of St. Vincent's Catholic Church, its Ladies Sodality and Daughters of Isabella. She was a member of Retired Teachers Association, ADK Sorority, and member of the board of Community Counseling Service in Perryville.

Survivors include two sons, John Hinni of Cape Girardeau, Rev. Thomas Hinni of LaJunta, Colo.; a sister, Edith Moore of Perryville; two grandsons and a great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by four brothers.

Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Vincent's Church. The Rev. Hinni will officiate, with burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 3-9 p.m. today, and 6:30-9:45 a.m. Wednesday. An ADK wake service will be held at 6 p.m. today, followed by Daughters of Isabella and parish wake at 7.
