Evelyn May Amos, 83, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, July 21, 2005, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
She was born Oct. 12, 1921, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Barney and Mattie Wickersham Klasing. She and William Edward Amos were married Jan. 31, 1944, in Arkansas. He died Sept. 1, 1994.
Amos was a member of Cornerstone Wesleyan Church in Scott City.
Survivors include a daughter, Marilyn Rhodes of Cape Girardeau; 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a stepson, four brothers and three sisters.
Friends may call at Cornerstone Wesleyan Church from 2 p.m. to service time Saturday.
The funeral will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at the church, with the Revs. Rennie Phillips and Joe Hudson officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery at Scott City.
Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City is in charge of arrangements.
