EVA PRICE

PERKS, Ill. -- Funeral for Eva Robertson Price of Perks will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Wilson Funeral Home in Karnak. The Revs. Walter Stevenson and Dennis Fitzsimmons will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Olive Cemetery near Dongola.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-9 p.m. today.

Price, 92, died Monday, May 3, 1999, at City Care Center in Anna.

She was born Aug. 31, 1906, in Pulaski County, daughter of George and Anna Dry Eller. She first married Earnest Robertson. She later married Elzie Price. Both preceded her in death.

Price was employed by the U.S. Post Office 20 years. She was a member of Gospel Assembly Church in Anna.

Survivors include a daughter, Afton Sams of Cairo; a son, Bobby Robertson of Olmsted; two sisters, Opal Eastwood of Metropolis, Mable Cummins of Perks; a brother, George Eller of Collinsville; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother.
