Eva Poole, 89, of 340 Country Club Drive in Cape Girardeau died Thursday, April 9, 1992, at the Cape Girardeau Nursing Center.
She was born Feb. 1, 1903, at Pulaski County, Ill., the daughter of Charles and Sarah Warden Burgens.
She married James Poole in 1922, who preceded her in death.
Survivors include two sons, Harley and Kenny Poole, both of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Louise Bell of Cape Girardeau and Verda Cavaness of Dexter; two sisters, Gertrude Corey of Scott City and Helen Melton of East Prairie; 16 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and two great, great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by seven sons, three daughters, a brother, two grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel in Cape Girardeau. Graveside service will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Lorimier Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
