ANNA, Ill. -- Eva Mae Goddard, 90, of Anna died Monday, July 18, 2005, at Union County Hospital. She was born March 23, 1915, in Murphysboro, Ill., daughter of Curt and Alice Roberts Burns. She and Clyde Goddard were married April 12, 1936, in Anna. He died Oct. 15, 1991...

ANNA, Ill. -- Eva Mae Goddard, 90, of Anna died Monday, July 18, 2005, at Union County Hospital.

She was born March 23, 1915, in Murphysboro, Ill., daughter of Curt and Alice Roberts Burns. She and Clyde Goddard were married April 12, 1936, in Anna. He died Oct. 15, 1991.

The Goddards owned Goddard's Seed and Produce Store many years. She was a member of Anna United Methodist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Jimmy and Jerry Goddard of Anna; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. today at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna, with the Rev. Al Campbell officiating. Burial will be in Anna City Cemetery.
