KELSO, Mo. -- Eva Marie Glueck, 91, of Kelso, died Saturday, Sept. 26, 2015, at Fountainbleau Lodge in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Nov. 9, 1923, in Benton, Missouri, to Joseph and Christine Essner LeGrand.
She and Raymond Glueck were married June 3, 1944, at St. Denis Catholic Church in Benton. He preceded her in death in 1962.
Eva was a longtime faithful member of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Kelso, Missouri, where she was a member of the choir, rosary group and St. Ann's Sodality and quilting group. She also was a member of the Kelso Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary. She worked for Saint Francis Medical Center in housekeeping for 20 years.
Survivors include her six children and spouses, Anna Marie (Avis) Meyer of St. Louis, Marilyn (Dennis) Herkstroeter of Fairbanks, Alaska, Carol (Tony) Glueck of Cape Girardeau, Don (Colette) Glueck of Marion, Iowa, Thomas (Cathy) Glueck of Devils Elbow, Missouri, and Mary Jane (Bruce) Schwieger of Olive Branch, Illinois. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, Chelsea (Steve) Deiters of St. Louis, Matthew (Lisa) Herkstroeter and Caleb (Jenn) Herkstroeter of Alaska, Joshua (Alicia) Glueck of St. Louis, Jennifer (Chris) Hart of Manassas, Virginia, Raymond Glueck of Marion, Iowa, Elizabeth (DJ) Pratt of Collinsville, Illinois, Sarah Ressel of Cape Girardeau and Logan Schwieger of Olive Branch. She also is survived by 11 great-grandchildren and one sister, Lena Baskis of New York.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond; her parents; a grandson, Jason Meyer and two brothers, Clarence and Eugene LeGrand.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Kelso. Parish prayers will be at 7 p.m. Mass of the resurrection will be concelebrated by the revs. Joseph Weidenbenner and Bobby Manso at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Augustine Church.
Burial will be in St. Augustine Catholic Cemetery.
