MOUNDS, Ill. -- Eunice Hedger, 93, of Mounds, died Friday, Jan. 31, 1992, at Cape LaCroix in Cape Girardeau, Mo. She was born Oct. 3, 1898, in Jefferson County, Ky., daughter of Richard and Mary Alice Ridgeway Skaggs. She married Frank Hedger, who died Dec. 11, 1988...

MOUNDS, Ill. -- Eunice Hedger, 93, of Mounds, died Friday, Jan. 31, 1992, at Cape LaCroix in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

She was born Oct. 3, 1898, in Jefferson County, Ky., daughter of Richard and Mary Alice Ridgeway Skaggs. She married Frank Hedger, who died Dec. 11, 1988.

Hedger was a member of Villa Ridge Union Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Blanche Curtis of Mounds, Lorraine Shumaker of Villa Ridge; two sons, Robert Hedger of Mounds, Vernon Hedger of Middletown, R.I.; seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son and daughter.

Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. today at Barkett Funeral Chapel in Cairo. The Rev. Gerald Bethards will officiate, with burial in Armour Cemetery near Bertrand, Mo.
