Eula Schmidt

Eula Juanita Schmidt, 91, of Cape Girardeau passed away Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2014, at Chateau Girardeau.

She was born Dec. 16, 1922, at Zalma, Missouri, daughter of Earl and Susan Elizabeth Fish. Eula and Riley Tice were married in 1946. He passed away in 1955. She later marriage William Robert Schmidt Aug. 31, 1957. He preceded her in death Sept. 1, 2004.

Eula worked many years at Carter Carbonator in St. Louis. She had been baptized at Brush Creek Church. She was a member of Order of Eastern Star and enjoyed gardening.

Survivors include a sister, Thelma Morgan of Arab, Missouri, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, three sisters, and a brother.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance, Missouri.

The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Dale Fish officiating. Burial will be in Crow Cemetery near Sullivan, Missouri.
